We visited NEWSTONE recently — a quartz surface manufacturer based in Vietnam — and the scale surprised us.
The process starts with raw quartz powder and pigments mixed in large overhead silos, pressed into slabs under high pressure using KEDA hydraulic presses, then run through multi-head polishing lines before reaching the finishing bay where countertops and custom pieces are cut and assembled.
The end product? Engineered quartz slabs competing directly with imported brands — at Vietnamese manufacturing cost.
For buyers in construction, kitchen and bathroom fit-out, or interior materials sourcing, Vietnam is producing at a level that warrants a closer look.
