“Supporting industries” (as defined in Decree 111/2015) supply components, raw materials, and tooling to automotive, electronics, machinery, etc. Vietnam has doubled down with new Decree 205/2025 to upgrade tech, workforce, and green standards—aimed at deeper local content for FDI OEMs.
